Vinoy Kumar is returning to consulting after almost eight years at Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore as a senior partner at Partners in Performance.

The 53-year-old was most recently the global head of digital assets and before that the senior managing director of strategy at the bank. He has also been a managing director and partner at Boston Consulting Group, where he worked on financial service clients.

He said he chose Partners in Performance because he felt it would be a good fit for his experience. The firm tends to hire senior operatives that have a consulting and corporate experience. “I’ve worked on the operational side and the advisory side ... I want to bring that empathy and understanding to the clients,” Mr Kumar said.
