Australian green hydrogen could slash global carbon emissions while yielding billions

Brian Innes, Director, believes Australia’s emerging green hydrogen industry should focus less on exporting green hydrogen and concentrate more on using it to produce green steel, ammonia, cement and other products.

Australia's high potential for renewable energy generation, primarily through wind and solar power, can be used to produce green hydrogen which can in turn help manufacture products with a smaller carbon footprint, potentially replacing overseas production and reducing upstream emissions.
