Summary Bio

Tom has more than 30 years of experience in executive line management and consulting in Australia, New Zealand, South‑East Asia, South Africa, the UK and the USA.

As Director and lead of South‑East Asia operations, he is focussed on helping companies in the region with operations excellence, organisational effectiveness, business transformation, and strategy across multiple industries.

Before joining Partners in Performance, Tom spent many years in executive line management in Malaysia and Australia, including two years as Leader of Organisational Effectiveness at Korn Ferry and eight years as CCO of a leading telecoms provider. Prior to that, he spent eight years with McKinsey and Company.

His combined experience in both strategy consulting and industry executive management, allows him to draw upon a diverse skill set and gives him a well‑rounded vantage point to guide clients through their operational or organisational improvement journeys.

At Partners in Performance, his focus is on transforming ‘the way an organisation works’ – what it values, how it manages and rewards employees, how it rises to new market challenges. Here, he believes that a thorough execution is more important than the strategy it is based on – a strategy often does not ‘survive the first punch’, but an alignment of organisational behaviours will.
