Summary Bio

Meet Ryan Holbein

Ryan has extensive experience delivering transformational improvements in mining and heavy‑industry operations and unlocking significant value in major capital projects. Over his 14 years at Partners in Performance, Ryan has helped deliver over $530 million in operational improvements and $750 million in capex optimisation in some of the world's largest organisations across USA, Canada, Australia, and South Africa.

His core expertise lies in mining and metals, with deep experience in pulp and paper and manufacturing. His extensive experience in continuous improvement and operational performance management enables him to drive significant value for clients quickly. He does this by first homing in on the most critical value levers, then building best practice performance management disciplines and driving execution on improvement initiatives on those levers.

Ryan approaches his engagements with a highly collaborative approach, engaging his clients in problem solving and investing the time to foster alignment and build organisational capability to ensure change is faster and more sustainable.

More recently, he has taken a leadership role in the Partners in Performance Digital practice. Here, he helps clients develop practical and value‑creating digital roadmaps and translates digital vision into tangible bottom‑line impacts. Ryan believes it’s critical to first identify where the best value opportunities lie before identify technology solutions to capture value.
