Kwaku has 15 years of experience in consulting, driving large‑scale transformations, and advising major institutions across Africa. He is a Partner in the Africa region for Partners in Performance, where he is helping clients improve their growth strategies, execute their digital agenda, and unleash potential in both front‑ and back‑end operations.

Prior to Partners in Performance, Kwaku worked at McKinsey & Company where he led the Banking Transformation practice in Africa. Before this, he worked at Goldman Sachs in London and helped restructure the capital, liquidity and market risk management of the mortgage backed securities portfolio in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis.

He is driven to do impactful work and collaborate with colleagues to help organisations achieve lasting impact. He is a believer that different cultures and ways of work can make a real difference in driving growth and successful transformations.

He has extensive experience and a proven track record in delivering performance transformation programmes across financial services, consumer goods, and public sector clients throughout Africa and in other emerging markets. He has also helped organisations expand their business lines, reduce costs, enter new markets and develop long‑term strategies that resulted in growth.
