João brings over 20 years of consulting and line management experience from across Europe, Latin America, and Africa. He is a Director in the Latin America region and supports clients in digital enablement, operational improvement, and transformation engagements.

Before joining Partners in Performance, João was a Corporate Vice President at Grupo Romero and Chief Information Officer‑Corporate Apps at Falabella. He also worked at McKinsey & Company, leaving as an Associate Partner. He is a pioneer in the use of AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics in retail and CPG companies.

Focusing on his speciality in transformation projects with mining and heavy industries, João has helped clients change processes and mindsets to increase performance and make transformation succeed by taking a hands‑on approach. He believes transforming people and having the right mindset and motivation will successfully transform an organisation and ensure its success.
