Meet Cheryl Gardner
Cheryl is Head of Recruitment for the Africa Region at Partners in Performance. Based in Johannesburg, she reports to the Global Head of Recruiting and is responsible for leading the recruiters in best practice talent acquisition, assessment and selection techniques across the organisation’s Africa regions.
Cheryl joined Partners in Performance in 2013 from Deloitte where she headed up the Experienced Hires Recruitment Team. Prior to her recruitment career, Cheryl has a background in education and was an English teacher at St Stithians College in Johannesburg. Her passion for education has continued as she is still part of the guest lecturing faculty at Wits Business School on the MBA Program.
At Partners in Performance, Cheryl is driven by her belief that every conversation with any potential candidate is always a privilege. She is committed to ensuring that every person should have an excellent experience when interacting with the firm.
Within the recruitment team, she works hard to make certain that each potential candidate gets the “real feel” for what it is to work at Partners in Performance. As a result, this means the team of recruiters have an intricate knowledge of the Africa office and are experienced in identifying the right talent for the firm.
